New Features In Sony Ericsson P990

Sony Ericsson has added some new features in the Sony Ericsson P990 smart phone:

  • Business Card Scanner
    With the new business card scanner you can take a picture of a business card using the built in camera and add it to your contacts.
  • Better E-Mail Support
    The new e-mail solution contains support for push e-mail which means that e-mail messages automatically gets delivered to the phone as soon as they arrive to the e-mail server.
    Active Sync towards Exchange servers is another new feature after a partnership agreement with Microsoft.
  • Anti Virus & Firewall From McAfee
    All new Sony Ericsson P990 will be equiped with MfAfee antivirus and firewall.

The game Vijay Sing Pro Golf 2005 from Gameloft will also be included in the new P990.

    Hi I want to upgrade my Sony Ericesson P990i phone.

    I reset my phone due to the touch screen problem that I had with it and before resetting I ran backup of the phone to my computer.

    Now I can’t restore back from the computer.

    I had spent 15 hours in restoring and it always gave me a notice that “restoration is in progress” that is from the phone for 15 hours the same message will be there thereafter, there won”t be any change of restoration.

    And since the resetting of the phone, my anti-virus had not been working.

    I reinstalled the anti-virus, and if I want to scan it won’t work.

    Please, I need your help.

    Have you tried installing the latest P990i PC-software from Sony Ericsson homepage (http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/products/softwaredownloads/p990i?cc=us&lc=en)?

    my phone is not booting it restarts every time sony ericsson customer care are unable to support me they say my p990i is not takng there software what should i do?

    hey… my p990i touchscreen suddenly stopped working. can anyone help? i tried formatting. it didnt help
